RTO runners will be passing through the Virgina Highlands on Saturday, June 3rd, 2023 from about 10am-4pm.
As in the past, they will be using the SR341 right of way from Virginia City past the Toll Road / Cartwright Road intersection. The exchange point there is in the NDOT work area north of that intersection, not at the intersection itself.
For Leg 33 of our relay, one runner per team doubles back from this point and heads down the dirt Toll Road to the bottom. Team vans will then head down SR 341 to pick up their runners at the next exchange point in Reno, not far from the bottom of Toll Road.
Drive carefully in the area and be aware!
